Welcome to the Caio Terra Academy, Irving Texas, one of Dallas's premier martial arts academies. With programs for men, women and children specializing in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and self defense we invite you to stop in and see all we have to offer. We are open 6 days a week and offer a variety of classes to fit any schedule!

A different team for a different time
In 2014 Caio Terra Academy Irving opened us doors for the first time. Professor Collin Grayson who was teaching and living in Rockwall, Texas, decided to start teaching noon classes in Irving during his lunch break (he worked in Irving). In 2017 Professor liked Irving so much he decided to move his family to Irving and this left him with tough decision, operate two academies and stretch himself thin or focus on building one strong academy that he could call home.
After talking with Caio Terra, and his wife, Collin made the decision to close Rockwall and focus full-time on Irving. Looking back, it was an amazing decision. CTA Irving now offers 12 classes a week, all taught by Black Belt Professor Collin Grayson. We humbly invite you to try a class out, you’ll be glad you did!

Professor Collin Grayson
Born and raised in Rockwall, Texas, Professor Collin Grayson has been training and teaching the art of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu for nearly two decades! In 2005, Professor Collin opened his first school in Rockwall and in 2014 decided to expand opening Caio Terra Academy Irving.
Today CTA Irving is one of the premier martial arts gyms in all of the Dallas-Ft. Worth metroplex. With classes for everyone regardless of skill, experience, or athletic ability, we humbly invite you to come in and see all we have to offer!

Collin Grayson is a great instructor, a good friend and above all else an amazing person! When he first applied to be an affiliate I knew right away he would be a good fit.
