Saturdays at CTA Irving are always special, but this one felt extra full of energy and connection. Our CT Littles and CT Kids got together for a fun class built around one of our self-defense scenarios—how to escape a rear bear hug.
We turned Saturday morning’s positive energy into action immediately. The students worked in pairs, practicing how to recognize the threats of the bear hug position, how to stay calm, and most importantly, how to escape effectively. Some of our CT Kids even got the chance to demonstrate for our guests, showing just how much confidence and technique they’ve been building week after week.
It’s mornings like these that make us so proud of the environment we’re creating here in Irving and Las Colinas. Every drill, every laugh, every technique shared with a buddy builds bonds that go far beyond the mats.
We can’t wait to see what next week brings!
