Waking up at 5am is never easy, but to do it and be training Jiu-Jitsu with your friends an hour later is absolutely nuts. This is where CTA Irving’s Sunshine Boyz come in. We have an amazingly consistent early morning group of students and each year we try and take some time out (and off) to have a few cups of coffee and a nice breakfast at the local Waffle House.
Now in our FOURTH year, this group has grown larger each time we’ve visited and we can’t wait to see what the future holds. The Sunshine Boyz are typically a group that has several outside commitments in life…family, work, kids, school, etc…and there’s not much “free time” available. But where there’s a will, there’s a way – and that way is with the Sunshine Boyz.
