We’re kicking off April in a strong way! No fooling’ around! This week has our students returning to the standing position to review some Self Defense and Judo basics. The root of all martial arts and our main reason for training is to protect ourselves, so we’ll be discussing the basic scenarios of being grabbed or choked from behind:

After escaping these positions, we’ll end up in the Top Side Control position. From here, we will discuss isolating our opponent’s arm to perform a Kimura – or an Armlock if they defend!
