Next week we’re returning to our feet and getting back to Guard! From the Closed Guard, the Armlock is one of the most common Submission attempts available to us. However, it will be necessary to establish control of our partner’s posture in order to secure the angles that we need. Submitting an opponent from the bottom position is usually more difficult, but we’ll focus on a few ways to ensure strong positioning in class.
