Summer’s coming to a close, but the red hot techniques don’t stop! We’ll be starting off the month of August by returning to our feet and learning one of our highest percentage takedown combinations. We’ll cover both the Collar Drag and Single Leg Takedowns and then explore how to also use them as a sweep when playing Open Guard.

The second half of the week will be focused on initiating the action by pulling Closed Guard. In addition, Professor Collin will address the different reactions that our opponent will have, opening up opportunities to sweep or even submit them!
