Moving onto the Mount! We’re wrapping up the month of August with some high percentage attacks from the top, including both chokes and joint locks. On Monday and Tuesday we will focus on securing the grips and positioning to execute the Cross Choke from Mount. The Mount position gives us the opportunity to use our own body weight to add strength to the technique, making this one incredibly powerful!

In the middle of the week, we’ll cover the Armlock from the Mount. By building on the concepts covered earlier in the week, Professor Collin will discuss moving to the S-Mount position before securing grips and then the submission. We’ll even be adding some tips on how to counter our opponent’s defensive reactions!
