ARMBARS ALL OVER THE PLACE! This week, we’ll be exploring the ins and outs of one of the most classic submissions in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu! On Monday and Tuesday, we will be focused on the offensive side of this technique to learn the controls and grips needed. From there, some of the most common reactions will be addressed, as we add the Flower Sweep into our Lesson Plan as well.

We’ll close the week by introducing some of the methods of defending the Armbar as well. Early detection is going to be key, but once we’re able to protect our arm and weaken our opponent’s posture while attacking, the escape and pass should be automatic.
