Takedowns, Turtle Attacks and TONS of Chokes on the way as we close out the last full week of July! The Single Leg takedown is an incredibly versatile method of taking our opponent to the ground. We’ll cover footwork, entries and a couple of different variations on finishing the technique, and even end with how to counter the takedown with a Guillotine Choke!

On Wednesday we’ll move to the defensive side of things by addressing how to Sprawl and defend a Takedown or even counter attack one with a different version of the Guillotine Choke. From there, we’ll expand our counterattacks and add the D’Arce Choke as an option off of the Sprawl as well:
