Our last full week of May focuses on Self Defense and Escapes! One of the most common situations when discussing “what if?” scenarios for self defense is the headlock – and knowing how to escape it. Professor Collin will be showing details from both the standing position and the ground to help you survive, defend and escape!

From there, we’ll begin to discuss improving our position from underneath side control and back to recovering guard. Part of this Lesson Plan includes covering the usage of frames, a common concept when escaping bad positions.
