Our Lesson Plans hit full steam as we continue to address the Back Position, but this time from a defensive standpoint. Before we’re able to escape our opponent’s hooks and seatbelt grips, we must first position ourselves and change some angles to reduce their offensive options. From there, we’ll explore how our opponent is going to react and what to do to ensure both the escape and even ending in top position.

Mid-week, we’ll be returning to our feet to learn another takedown and discussing the Arm-In Guillotine Choke. These techniques pair great together, as we’ll learn the application of a trip to assist our Double Leg Takedown and then learn how to capitalize on our opponent’s shot with a submission!
