This week is a short one as we celebrate Thanksgiving on Thursday and Friday, but we’ll still have enough time to cover all of our Lesson Plans this week! We’ll begin on Monday by finishing up our Armlock from Guard series. In this Lesson Plan, we’ll introduce the Defense and Escape to this technique, both of which will be far easier to execute now that we have a deeper understanding of how to apply the Armlock.

On Wednesday, we will cover another powerful submission from the Closed Guard – the Triangle Choke! This technique is one of the most strongest chokes in Jiu-Jitsu not only because it utilizes the legs, but also (and mostly!) because of the angles we create and direction we squeeze!
