MORE FROM MOUNT! Next week, we’ll be continuing our work from Mount with both offense AND defense. To start Monday and Tuesday off, Professor Collin will be sharing details on the Keylock or Americana. This is one of the most common submissions from the Mount position, with many alternatives depending on how your opponent reacts.

On Wednesday, we’ll switch our focus to escapes and learn the Upa. This is one of the most vital techniques in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, as it helps us escape a bottom position and into a top one with very little effort. There are some variations depending on our opponent’s hand placement, and we’ll cover them all!
