We’re passing Open Guard and having a whole lot of fun while doing it! We’ll be exploring a handful of different methods to get to our opponent’s hips, starting with the Over/Under Pass on Monday and Tuesday. We’ll explore the details behind angles and grips and much more!
If our opponent is able to recover back to Half Guard, we’ll start by executing the Tripod Pass. Balance will be a critical element in this one working, so our focus will be on maintaining a strong connection with our shoulder and legs through the technique.
