Mechanics from Mount coming up this week! On Monday and Tuesday, we’re going to be covering some of the most valuable concepts and techniques in all of Jiu-Jitsu – establishing frames and escaping our hips. Escaping from the Mount position is not an easy task, and we also have to be aware of Submission and Backtake attempts as well!

Starting Wednesday, we will move to the Hip Press method of escaping the Mount position. If our opponent is low and on our hips, we must adjust our escape attempts accordingly. To close the Lesson Plan, we’ll add a bit of offense as well, so don’t miss out!
