Today we release the Lesson Plan for Week #5, which covers the Classic Collar Choke and Bow and Arrow Choke. Both of these attacks are incredibly strong chokes – not necessarily because of our grips, but due to the angle we’re able to create on our opponent!
We’ll begin the video series with a couple of strength exercises that are easy to do at home followed by a drill to help us secure strong position on our opponent prior to attacking. One of the most valuable lessons in Jiu-Jitsu is “position before submission” and working from the back is no different.
The second half of videos addresses the Classic Collar Choke and Bow and Arrow Choke…both very strong options to finish the fight depending on which side you are on.
